Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born December 13, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a pop/country singer-songwriter for over 20 years. Her tales about romantic love in the midst of heartbreak and young love have earned her wide acclaim during the 21st Century. Swift discovered a love for music as early as age, and quickly moved from roles in theatre for children until her first performance before an audience of thousands. She was age 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and next year, she took up guitar and began to write songs. Swift sought inspiration from singers of country music like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and now the Chicks to develop original material that expressed the apathy that she felt around the age of thirteen. In the year 13 Swift's parents decided to sell their farm in Pennsylvania to move to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could devote more of her time to wooing the country label within the vicinity of Nashville.
